I define myself as one due to my ability to find creative solutions to problems that are often technical. The term Imagineering was introduced in the 1940s by ALCOA (Aluminum Company of America) to describe its blending of imagination and engineering, and used by Union Carbide in an in-house magazine in 1957. Disney filed for a trademark for the term in 1989, claiming first use of the term in 1962.
I started my first job as a graphic designer at a print shop located in the city of Cape Town at the beginning of March, 2007. Since then I have been soaking up as much as I can from the industry.
